God willing, Brigham is going down in screaming flames

It all started when fast-talker Steven Chase Brigham and one of his recruits pulled up to a Maryland emergency room in a rented Chevy Malibu with a gravely injured 18-year-old girl in the back seat. Brigham and his flunkey, Dr. Nicola Riley, were evasive about who they were, where they were from, and what had happened to the girl. The girl was flown to Johns Hopkins for emergency surgery. Brigham took Riley back to his nearby abortion mill, where she got back to work.

An outraged doctor called the medical board and the cops.

And now Brigham may face felony charges.

In order to sell later abortions than he was licensed to sell in New Jersey, Brigham would start the abortions in his Voorhees office, then caravan his women to Maryland -- where he wasn't even licensed to practice -- so that somebody there could finish the job.

Coverage of Brigham's woes also describes an abortion death at the hands of Romeo A. Ferrer. I'll update the case of the woman I called Peggy later -- I have to leave for work.

UPDATE: I wrote up the case of the death of Denise Crowe. And Brigham has agreed to a suspension of his New Jersey license in order to, he says, gain time to prepare his defense. However, while Brigham himself is not permitted to practice, this doesn't shut down the abortion mills he runs. This quack is still in charge.

You should mention that NAF is also working to bring Brigham down.

What is NAF doing? All I know is that they don't have him as a member any more. Which really makes him stand out. And I never could get a straight answer as to why he wasn't good enough for them. Their claims that they just don't take quacks don't hold water, considering the appalling stuff their other members do -- far worse than anything Brigham has been caught at.

I'm guessing it's his financial irregularities, especially considering what's going down with PP at the moment.
